Portarlington is a friendly bayside township situated on the north-eastern corner of the Bellarine Peninsula, 31 kilometres from the City of Geelong and approximately 106 Kilometres from Melbourne.
The drive from Geelong takes you through undulating hills and vineyards, olive groves, stock grazing land onto the tranquil waters and views of the Bellarine Peninsula. As you enter Portarlington you can see Melbourne city landscape as a backdrop to the waters of the bay and the Portarlington pier.
Portarlington has a large recreation reserve, and boasts plenty of local attractions including an 18-hole golf course, all weather bowling club, skateboard park, boat ramps, walking/bicycle track that leads around the foreshore towards St Leonards for approx 24 kilometres.
Sit back and relax in the sun on the long sandy beach or take a dip in the clear waters. Make use of the private boat ramp and wet a line in one of Victoria's best bay fisheries, breakout the PWC, jump the wake or enjoy a leisurely sail.
